Labor Day Ski Sale at Bolton Valley

Greetings newsletter nation. With Labor Day providing for an extra day off on Monday there are only four more days to wear white before those cloths go away for the winter, not to be worn again until Pond Skimming. To celebrate, I'm sitting here decked out like Tom Wolfe after an Armani white sale. After Labor Day I'll dress like Johnny Cash for months on end. I like to do things in extremes.

I'll keep this short today. I'm busy and I'm sure you are too, trying to tie up those last minute projects before the three day weekend, which, I'm sure you'll be spending with us at Bolton Valley at Vermont's Largest Ski and Snowboard Sale. It's really filling in down at the Sports Center. Check out some of the pictures to see what's been loaded in so far.

Perhaps the best news is that 2009-10 Bolton Valley Season Pass holders get an extra 5% off over the already drastically reduced prices on skis, boards, clothing, helmets, goggles, boots and pretty much everything else you need to get set up for the season. If you have not purchased a pass yet you can get one at the sale.

Don't forget the rail jam on Friday night at 5pm. It's going to be just like an on snow rail jam but instead we'll hold it near the Sports Center on ice shavings from a local hockey rink. Should be interesting. Bring your camera and your sense of adventure. Online registration is closed but space is still available for day of registration for both skiers and riders and will fill on a first come first serve basis starting at 3:30pm.

Good Contest Update: Last week's winner of a Bolton Valley lift ticket is Cathy Desautels, she emailed with the correct answer that skis and boards start at $99 at the sale this weekend. Last week's contest drove you to the website, this week's contest drives you to Bolton Valley. We'll be giving away two lift tickets but you must enter at the sale this weekend.

See you this weekend.
