Terrain Parks

(3/06/10 Update)

Attention, Park Fans: all three of our terrain parks are open, and inviting new feats of daredevilry every day. The Burton Progression Park and our Butterscotch Park off of the Snowflake Chair team up with the Jungle Jib to offer park features for skiers and riders of all abilities.

The Progression Park gets newbies started on smaller features, including a pair of small boxes, two small jumps, a roller, and a small rail. Our Butterscotch Park, with its larger slopestyle layout, now has 16 features, including the following:

An A-Frame Box, a Flat Box, and an Up Box
Jump Set with medium and big options
      The Hip
      A Down Rail, a Down-Flat-Down Rail, a Flat-Down Rail, etc.
A Mini Quarter Pipe Barrel Stall
      A Pole Jam

Beneath the Vista Quad, and accessible from Mid-Mountain, our Jungle Jib is dedicated to those who want to slide rails and boxes. After being completely reshaped on March 5th, it now contains a down/flat/down box, a wall ride/up butter box, and the Triple-Decker table, featuring a flat box, a barrel bonk, and a rainbow box. Check out the new configuration from a couple different angles:

As always, all three parks are lit for night skiing and riding Wednesday through Saturday. And remember to stay up to date with all the ins and outs on our terrain park blog.
