The Bolton Valley Nordic Center offers a wide array of lessons and programs for Noridic sking and snowshoeing. For more information or to make a reservation please call 802-434-6876.

For all lessons and programs please arrive 15-30 minutes early.

Nordic Lessons
Learn to cross-country ski or tune your skills this winter with a Bolton Valley Nordic Instructor. Take part in a private or group lesson in traditional classic skiing, or skate skiing. Or try one of our newest programs Tour and Ski Skills. If you need rentals we'll provide you quality rental gear at a reduced price when you take a lesson!

Holiday and Vacation weeks we have special programs, lesson and tours.

Group Lesson 1 Hour Classic Nordic Ski
Schedule for Group and Beginner Package Lessons:

• Wednesdays 11am

• Saturdays 10am and 1pm

• Sundays 1pm

Group Lesson
Spend an hour with one of our professional ski instructors and learn the basics of Nordic Skiing. This lesson will get you off on the right track to Nordic Skiing.

Beginner Package
Are you new to Nordic skiing? Then this package is the best place to start. Try our high quality, easy to use rental equipment and spend an hour with one of our professional ski instructors learning the basics of Nordic Skiing. Package includes a ticket, lesson and rental, a $62 value for only $50.

Tour and Skills Ski
Learn a variety of ski techniques while skiing the Bolton Valley trails with an instructor. Work with your instructor to choose a focus for your tour and spend time practicing what you have learned. Please call ahead, this lesson is by appointment only.

Free Nordic Clinics
The 2010 Season offers free Sunday morning clinics from 10-11am.  Please arrive at 9:30am to get setup.  Choose a Classic or Skate clinic taught by guest Nordic instructors. Free clinics are limited to one session each technique per person.  Clinic participants receive $5 off rentals. Reservations required.

Backcountry Tours
Ski or snowshoe, its up to you how you would like to enjoy our unique wilderness property. Duration, difficulty and pricing is all custom based on what you are looking for, so please don't hesitate to contact us for more information. Call to book your custom tour today.

Snowshoe Explorer Tour
Join us every Saturday from 2-4pm for this fun two-hour guided snowshoe tour on groomed and backcountry trails. This tour is a great introduction to snowshoeing and teaches the basic techniques of snowshoeing. Explore the forests and mountains; learn about the history of the trails while searching for signs of wildlife. Price of this tour includes ticket, snowshoes and guided tour. Snowshoes are limited so call ahead to reserve a pair. $35 per person; 2 person minimum to run tour.

Evening and Full Moon Adventures
Enjoy the light of the full moon, as we play in Bolton's fresh powder on snowshoes! Evening Snowshoe Adventures are professionally guided two-hour tours, designed for beginning to intermediate snowshoers. Price of this tour includes ticket, snowshoes and guided tour. Call (802) 434-6876 for more information, tour dates and to reserve your spot. Tour dates are every full moon, 5-7pm. Tours are $35 per person.
